His name is Kevin Peel and he is the LGBT rep on the Young Labour NEC. He is a very hard working campaigner who will work tirelessly for us, the Young Members of Gorton and Manchester.

I will work along side Kevin as your CLP Youth Officer to boost our campaigning power in Gorton and retain our Labour stronghold in Gerald Kaufman.

YLNW BIG WEEKEND!!!

Below is a message from your Young Labour North West team

Welcome to the Young Labour North West BIG Weekend, which is taking place at Manchester Town Hall on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 February.

This is an event organised by the YLNW Committee, and will feature some BIG name speakers, debates about the BIG issues facing Britain today, and on Sunday afternoon, a BIG campaigning drive, doing our bit to help Labour win in a key North West marginal seat.

We’ll provide free food and drink throughout the day, including free pizza during a showing of the film The Deal – about Tony Blair becoming leader of the Labour Party in 1994.

Even better, the BIG Weekend comes to you completely free of charge! All you need to do to register is send your name, contact email address and telephone number, and your CLP to adam_lewis@new.labour.org.uk.

This is the first event in a busy year for Young Labour North West, and the first event to be organised by the Young Labour North West committee. It is also your chance to come, to meet other young members from your area, and be part of a great event.
